Description
I photographed this little spider who happened to come home with me the other day when I picked flowers in the garden.
The flower and the spider is photographed in a black bowl with water. On the surface where the surface tension against the upwardly bent portion of the flower leaves unfortunately gives the curved reflection of the spindle.
I have enhanced the texture and contrast of the spider in the PS.
The species name is `Misumena vatia`. The females, which are larger than males, can grow up to 10 mm in body length, while males are up to 5 mm
